Igorway!
Basically, a Monkway build designed for general PvE to give monks some love and abuse those good smiteing skills like RoD. Monks are also very easy to get compared to paras and necs, though no way I am saying it is better then those. ^^
The build originated from "Post Your Excelent Hero Builds Here" thread, being just a sujjestion first and then people seemed to like it! So I decided to post it on a thread for you guys to check and give some ideas on improving it.
~THE ORIGINAL BUILD~
[build prof=Mo/Rt smiting=11+1+1 div=10+1 chan=10 ][defender's zeal][reversal of damage][smite condition][ancestor's rage][splinter weapon][smiter's boon][castigation signet][death pact signet][/build][build prof=Mo/Rt heal=11+1+1 smiting=10+1 div=10+1][word of healing][cure hex][smite condition][signet of rejuvenation][divine intervention][judge's insight][castigation signet][death pact signet][/build][build prof=Mo/N smiting=11+1+1 curs=10 div=10+1][defender's zeal][reversal of damage][smite condition][mark of pain][barbs][smiter's boon][castigation signet][Rip enchantment][/build]
Mobs are killed with a lot of smiting hate and their own damage being reversed at themselves, as the damage done by most foes on HM pve is quite high, RoD should be at it best. The concept also exploits the oftenly applied conditions to deal aoe holy damaghe on their removal. Direct damage and very good net energy gain is from castigation signet which the build abuses primerely.
It is advised you take a physical character with [save yourselves] to add some resilience to your squishie team.
~CURRENT SETUP~
[build prof=Mo/Rt smiting=11+1+1 div=10+1 chan=10 ][weapon of fury][reversal of damage][smite condition][smite hex][ancestor's rage][smiter's boon][castigation signet][death pact signet][/build][build prof=Mo/Rt heal=11+1+1 smiting=10+1 div=10+1][word of healing][patient spirit][smite condition][signet of rejuvenation][divine intervention][judge's insight][castigation signet][death pact signet][/build][build prof=Mo/N smiting=11+1+1 curs=10 div=10+1][corrupt enchantment][reversal of damage][smite condition][smite hex][barbs][smiter's boon][castigation signet][enfeebling blood][/build]

Everyone wants to make their own -way's nowadays...
Looks like a severe lack of general damage... And why in the world would you need defender's zeal on a character which skillbar is NOT energy heavy in the least, even for a hero?
The idea's cool, but it's too conditional. No pun intended, but... if there's an area with little/no conditions, there goes half of your AoE damage. I mean... i guess it could just barely work, that's for sure, i just know that for a fact this idea could never outclass 3 necros, and even your standard monk/nuker/support hero setup... props for the original idea though, i guess...

1. No need for 3 smite conditions. change one to Smite Hex, so you have 2 remove conditions and 2 remove hexes.
2. For the healing monk, I suggest not using Death Pact Signet, as if the one that guy rezes dies, then your only healer is dead. Not that good of an idea as that is the only rit skill being used.*and I know people will disagree with me on that*
3. Don't think this build will work with just heroes in general, might want to post a pic showing the vanquish of an area with the times and dp/morale of the heroes. And of course, just those 3 heroes. *and not some super easy vanquish area*

You mean just those heroes...no hecnhies in a "hard" 8 man area? Which one?
Yeah [smite hex] is good.

I might res my Mandragor Synergy thread and change the builds around a bit, and rename it "TylaWay" or "BoffWay"!

Sorry, the "Igorway" is my fault. :P
Nonetheless! lets focus on improving and changing the build!

Maybe if you changed up the WoH from a hybrid smiter to a hybrid protter.
I believe the original post featured the monk being /w and using 100 blades with some smiting support-don't recall seeing SY! on it.

The main reason I like this build is because a new character can easily get the heroes and the skills. There was a gap for a team build for NM for newer characters and this is it. I do not think it will stand up to HM or vanquishing though. You can get the 3 heroes early on in Nightfall and EotN, and the skills are also reasonable easy to get early in the campaigns (I hope I did not check). This makes it a viable team build to run the campaigns in Normal Mode. Compared to the other ~Ways you need to either finish the campaigns or be deep into them to get the heroes and the skills.
When people comment or make suggestions to keep this in mind.

Seconded, drop smite condition or castigation signet (elite Emanagement + castigation signet means that either it's overkill, or your elite suck. As DZ is ok, it's overkill.)

3 monk team needs far more Prot Spirit on the standard build, considering the player running SY! isn't standard.

Drop MoP - it's a good skill, but heroes are so wasteful with it. They'll rarely ever use it on a good target.
Judge's Intervention over Divine Intervention - you're spec'd into smiting so might as well. I actually wouldn't use either though. Since that monk is spec'd into healing, I'd give it Patient Spirit to avoid needed those "Intervention" skills in the first place.
I'd drop Rip Enchantment but that's just my preference - some of the enchants mobs use are rarely ever worth disenchanting. Unless you're doing Slaver's where you gotta deal with infinite-energy prot monks...
As some already said, add Enfeebling Blood.

An "SY" para can make bad things look good.....whether a hero-team build works or not can depend very heavily on the human player, their class and skill, etc.

I am going to create a new account in this forum and call myself "Hall", post a team build and call it "Hallway".
Or maybe call myself "NO", then call the build "NOWAY!"
Edit: I will test it in HM after I get off work.
